Areas of Activity Overview
The Raising the Floor Initiative's goal is to make internet technologies, content and services accessible to everyone, regardless of disability, literacy problems or difficulties due to aging.
To achieve this goal, RtF participants together are addressing this problem in a comprehensive manner looking at all aspects including needs analysis, research, development, dissemination, user support, legal and policy issues, and capacity building.
The results of these collaborative efforts will range from academic research findings, to product development, to the production and maintenance of software and web services that can be used by people internationally.
