User / Peer Support for RtF Solutions

This program area is focused on developing mechanisms to provide support to users of free and open source software. This would include both commercial support mechanisms and free, peer-based, support mechanisms for those who do not have, and cannot secure funding, for paid support mechanisms.

Development of a Peer Support Network

This project is focused on the development of peer support networks to allow consumers, friends, or others to support users of RtF (and other) access technologies. This project is responsible for creating a sustainable infrastructure for RtF.

Developing and Maintaining Online Support Materials

This project is focused on the development of a mechanism for the development and provision of online self-help support. It is closely related to the live support mechanism in the previous area (Development of a Peer Support Network) and will both support and draw information and direction from the previous area (Development of a Peer Support Network.)

Specific Peer Support Projects

  • Route 66 – a project to provide assistance and tools for those teaching literacy to others.
